The ear provides the perfect environment for opportunistic infection. The combination of moisture, body warmth and darkness is the optimal breeding ground for bacteria, fungi and other pathogenic organisms. Often these bacterial infections are deep within the ear and are difficult to treat.
Dr Pasternak’s Ear Rescue contains the patented LP3 Enzyme System to inhibit the bacterial growth associated with ear infections (without the use of antibiotics or isopropyl alcohol). It’s unique coating action formula provides a long lasting protective barrier while preventing water accumulation.
Our patented LP3 Enzyme System is highly effective in the treatment of bacterial, fungal and yeast infections.
Dr. Pasternak's Ear Rescue relieves discomfort and provides Maximum Protection against harmful bacteria associated with ear infections, utilizing the advanced LP3 Enzyme System.

It typically occurs in swimmers as water becomes trapped in the ear canal. When water is trapped in the ear canal, bacteria and sometimes fungus multiply, causing infection and irritation of the ear canal. If the infection progresses, it may involve the outer ear. This can become a chronic problem.
The most common symptoms of swimmer’s ear are mild to moderate pain that is aggravated by tugging on the auricle and an itchy ear. Other symptoms may include any of the following:
A dry ear is unlikely to become infected, so it is important to keep the ears free of moisture before and after swimming, surfing, diving or bathing. Use Dr. Pasternak’s Ear Rescue before and after entering the water.
What is the treatment of swimmer's ear?
Regardless of the cause, moisture and irritation will prolong the course of the problem. For this reason, the ear should be kept dry. While showering, bathing, diving, surfing or swimming, apply 2 to 3 drops of Dr. Pasternak’s Ear Rescue in each ear and massage gently. Scratching the inside of the ear or using cotton swabs should be avoided. This will only aggravate the irritated skin and in most situations, will make the condition worse.
If you already have an ear infection, perforated eardrum or if you had ear surgery or ear tubes, first consult your physician prior to swimming or before use of any type of ear drop.
Surfer's Ear is the common name for exostosis (abnormal bone growth) within the ear canal. Over time, irritation from cold wind and water cause the bone surrounding the ear canal to develop portions of new bony growth which constrict the ear canal. This condition is not limited to surfing and can occur in any activity with cold, wet, windy conditions such as kayaking, sailing, diving, swimming etc.
A common side effect of surfer’s ear is ear infection. This bony growth constricts the ear canal, trapping water in the ear. Moisture, darkness and a warm ear canal is the perfect breeding ground for pathogenic organisms that cause ear infections. Use 2 to 3 drops of Dr. Pasternak’s Ear Rescue in each ear before and after entering the water.
PLEASE NOTE: Dr. Pasternak’s Ear Rescue will not reverse or prevent the process of exostosis.
